When an assessee registers for GST, there are several circumstances when the information provided by the assessee is incorrect and must be corrected or modified.
Taxpayers in the following categories who have registered for GST can apply for modifications or amendments to information or details provided by them under the GST Law:

An application for modification can be filed if any changes need to be made because of a mistake in the GST Application or GST Registration data.
